Systems Architecture
The System Architecture assessment considers the hardware and configuration capabilities necessary to achieve the strategic objectives of your enterprise including performance, disaster recovery, scalability, and manageability. This program is often executed in advance of an Oracle Applications implementation. It is also effective for understanding the system requirements necessary to support future business initiatives, or as a part of a root cause analysis to diagnose system performance or stability issues. This assessment includes a comprehensive analysis of transaction activity, as well as functional and organizational requirements affecting system demand.
System Stability and Configuration
During an Oracle Applications Health Check all elements of the system are analyzed and measured. They are then compared to industry standards and best practices, and conventions ORAdba has developed through extensive relevant experience. This process yields significant insight into existing and potential stability and configuration risks, and provides a systematic plan for eliminating these risks. It includes a thorough review of issues affecting the availability and stability of your system with a detailed examination of the supporting technologies and their configuration.
Enterprise-wide System Performance
This holistic system performance assessment evaluates all elements in the processing cycle including the user's experience, the computers, I/O and network architectures, Oracle Applications and technologies, the database, and all points in between. Performance and workload characteristics are measured to create an accurate view of processing events and the associated effects on system resources. We then apply industry-leading methods and tools and proprietary techniques which give us the ability to quickly consider the entire system and isolate the components causing the degradation.
Security and Operational Strategies
The Security and Operational Strategies assessment considers the conventions, constraints and enforcement of security practices within the organization specific to Oracle Applications and technologies. This assessment also examines the policies and procedures associated with system management and administration. Industry and Oracle best-practices along with regulatory conventions are then used to guide the design of strategies which will improve efficiency, eliminate error and minimize risk.
Oracle Applications Concurrent Processing
The Oracle Applications Concurrent Processing evaluation includes an extensive analysis of concurrent managers and the concurrent processing workload. Unnecessary processing, poorly performing code, inefficient submission and scheduling, and ineffective configurations are identified. A prioritized strategy is then designed to configure concurrent managers for optimal throughput, balance the processing load, eliminate unnecessary processing and tune inefficient transactions.
Advanced Oracle Technologies
Advanced Oracle Technologies assessments address technical issues specific to the configuration and capabilities of advanced Oracle products such as Real Application Clusters and Data Guard. ORAdba performs a thorough review of objectives, requirements and design, to assess the stability of the implementation and the suitability of its configuration.
Information Valuation Assessment
Our Information Valuation Assessment analyzes your Oracle E-Business data and provides you with an objective detailed assessment of its quality measured against current industry standards. Missing, incomplete, and obsolete data elements are identified along with areas of weakness and limitations. Data is organized into functional areas or business flows, quantified analytically and scored. This information establishes your data quality baseline and can then be used to measure improvements. Recommended improvements and a plan of action for implementing them are also provided.
Regulatory Compliance Preparedness Assessment
Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and other regulatory definitions place considerable requirements on the access, manipulation, and management of data within organizations.
